Close to 40% of the elderly in Israel (close to 500,000) report that they experience loneliness. This loneliness has direct effects on health status, personal image and perception, personal well-being and more. We connect student volunteers with lonely elders - from meetings to relieve loneliness, weekly phone calls to checking needs for food and medicine and more. When a need arises - we take care quickly. In ten years of activity we have met more than 1500 volunteers and elders.
Expanding our activity during this period is more important than ever.
We will not leave any old man alone!
